What deletion removes
TaKnow deletes your authentication account and your related application record, tarot sessions, messages, readings, analysis history, diary history, and the account's versioned compliance-decision history. For a current Apple account, TaKnow first revokes the retained Apple authorization token. An older Apple account without a captured token receives instructions to stop using Apple ID for TaKnow in Apple ID Settings. TaKnow also asks PostHog to remove the analytics person associated with the account ID and queues deletion of that person's historical events. The app clears its local keychain credential, account-specific choices, cookies, caches, local files, onboarding data, and diagnostic logs. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
If adult eligibility restricts your access
TaKnow requires users to be at least 18 and meet any higher applicable local age requirement. Existing users must confirm this adult policy even if they previously confirmed they were 13 or older. A restriction does not automatically delete your account. In the adult-policy app update, use the deletion action on the eligibility screen if you are already signed in, or use public Support to request deletion or access to your existing data. You do not need to become eligible or resume AI use to make a privacy request.
Apple subscriptions
Deleting your TaKnow account does not cancel an Apple subscription. To prevent future charges, cancel it in your Apple subscription settings. You may delete your account immediately without waiting for the subscription to expire.
To request a refund for an Apple purchase, use Apple's refund service. Apple decides refund requests under its policies. Contact Support if you need help with the TaKnow account or related benefits.
If you cannot access the app
Visit Support and submit an account-deletion request. Include the sign-in method you used, but never send a password, one-time code, or access token. We may need to verify that you control the account before acting.
