1. Acceptance and eligibility
By using TaKnow, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. TaKnow is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old, meet any higher age of adulthood or minimum age for using this service that applies where you live, and be legally able to agree to these Terms. Permission from a parent or guardian does not make a person below this minimum age eligible. If you do not meet these requirements or do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.
In the adult-policy app update, complete age screening before signing in and provide an accurate date of birth. The screening date is used on your device and is not saved to your profile or sent to TaKnow's server. You must also confirm that you meet the requirements where you live. App Store content ratings can vary by country and operating system; they do not reduce this service's minimum age.
Existing users must confirm eligibility under this adult policy before continuing. A previous confirmation of being 13 or older is not confirmation of adult eligibility. If you are ineligible, stop using the service. You may still request your existing data or account deletion through Support, manage an Apple subscription, and request a refund from Apple. Your account is not automatically deleted solely because you cannot continue using the service.
2. What TaKnow provides
TaKnow provides AI-generated tarot readings, conversational reflection, and diary tools. The content is intended for entertainment, creativity, and personal reflection only. It may be incomplete, inaccurate, unexpected, or unsuitable for your circumstances.
3. Not professional advice
TaKnow is not a substitute for medical, mental-health, legal, financial, safety, or other professional advice. Do not use a reading to make an emergency or high-stakes decision. Contact an appropriate qualified professional or local emergency service when needed.
4. Your account
You are responsible for protecting access to your account and for activity under it. Provide accurate login information and tell us through Support if you suspect unauthorized use. You can permanently delete your account from Settings.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the questions, notes, and other content you submit. You give TaKnow permission to process that content only as needed to operate, secure, and provide the service. Do not submit content you do not have the right to use or information that is unnecessarily sensitive.
6. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Break the law, harm another person, or violate their rights.
- Probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass security controls.
- Use automation to scrape or abuse the service.
- Give a false age or bypass age screening or eligibility restrictions.
- Misrepresent AI-generated content as professional advice or guaranteed prediction.
7. Availability and changes
Features may change, pause, or be discontinued. We may restrict access to protect users, comply with law, or respond to abuse. We aim for a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, TaKnow is provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. TaKnow is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or reliance on a reading. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
9. Price and purchases
TaKnow is free to download. When offered in the app, fish treats, tarot decks, and memberships are purchased through Apple. The purchase screen shows the full price and billing period. Memberships renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple may charge renewal within 24 hours before expiry. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings. Annual plans are billed in full each year; membership readings and fish treats are delivered each membership month. Unused monthly readings expire. Purchase restoration restores eligible subscriptions and permanent purchases; consumed fish treats are not restored. Refunds are handled by Apple and may adjust the associated benefits or balance. Deleting your TaKnow account does not cancel your Apple subscription.
10. Updates and contact
We may update these Terms and will revise the effective date. Material changes may be communicated in the app. Questions can be submitted through the public Support page.
